Friends of Music

The Friends of Music are a crucial part of encouraging the dreams of our students! Annual scholarship support allows our students to focus on the wonderful opportunities that a vibrant arts community like San Antonio has to offer them. Over the years, the Friends of Music have helped our students to pursue valuable professional opportunities by traveling to perform or present research at conferences and competitions across the country. This past year, we were able to use funding to support technology needs specific to the study of music in the online educational environment.

Funds raised through Giving Day will support:

Annual scholarship support for music students
Music Study Abroad program in Urbino, Italy
Student travel to present/perform at conferences and competitions
Annual commissioning project for student ensembles
