Established in 2013, “The Pride Faculty and Staff Association (FSA) mission is to offer a safe and supportive professional environment for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally (LGBTQ+) faculty and staff of UTSA.” Additionally, Pride FSA celebrates and supports our UTSA student population who identify as LGBTQ+.
Pride FSA is a financially self-sustaining organization. All events, initiatives, programs, and engagement activities for employees and students are made possible by the donations we receive. This year, Pride FSA will collaborate with student organizations in managing and producing the fall and spring semester Lavender Graduation celebrations for our students. Lavender Graduation is open to all and is a celebration honoring the LGBTQ+ community and acknowledges their achievements and contributions to the University.
