Professional Development
Funds contributed to Campus Recreation assist with professionally developing our student staff by obtaining nationally recognized certifications and attending regional and national conferences and workshops. These opportunities further their education and expose the student staff to leadership development, university recreation, fitness and wellness, facility management, outdoor recreation, and higher education.
"I am so beyond grateful that I was given the opportunity to attend the Wilderness First Responder Certification. Without this assistance, I am not sure how I would have the capability to cover this course. I want to thank Campus Recreation for allowing me to experience this event. It is truly a blessing, and I am so excited to apply what I learned on future excursions." - Abbas Bos
