The Staff Senate Annual Scholarship supports Roadrunner staff enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs at UTSA to further their personal and professional goals.
This scholarship helps staff pay for items not covered by the Employee Educational Benefit (EEB) program, which awards eligible employees up to 12 semester credit hours of designated tuition and mandatory fee waivers per year, but does not completely cover all financial needs.
The Staff Senate Annual Scholarship program currently provides two $500 awards for the undergraduate level and two $500 awards for the graduate level. UTSA Staff Senate hopes to expand the program, increasing both the individual award amount and the number of awards given.
