UTSA Army ROTC

UTSA Army ROTC, also known as the Roadrunner Battalion, combines college electives in Military Science with premier leadership training. Our program prepares young men and women to receive commissions in the United States Army as Second Lieutenants, in addition to providing them with tools for sustained success in their every-day lives.

Your gifts to the Roadrunner Battalion on UTSA Giving Day will support our cadets in two ways. First, our joint classroom (shared with our Air Force ROTC colleagues) will undergo renovations to update the classroom technology. This will provide an enhanced learning environment for our cadets as they progress through our programs. Second, we are working toward providing our cadets with new physical training equipment. Partnered with experts from UTSA’s athletics and campus recreation departments, our program is educating cadets on holistic health and fitness. In order to take this training to the next level, and truly prepare them for a physically demanding career as an Army officer, we need to provide them with appropriate training equipment.

We thank you in advance for your support to the next generation of leaders in the Army and communities across the United States!
