Connecting with Roadrunner Families

The Family Fund helps to enhance the Roadrunner experience for all UTSA students through programs and initiatives that contribute to their success. Through staff, faculty, and student led programs, contributions support events that foster a sense of belong, provide support and guidance, and build skills for the future.

Over the past year, funds earned during Giving Day 2022 have allowed the Family Association to provide more opportunities for families to connect with their roadrunner and make memories together through on-campus family events.

"We are so grateful for the events planned for families. My daughter is the student, but we are all Roadrunners in this family! We will definitely come to more UTSA Family events." - Shelly Ninke

Support the efforts of the Family Fund by donating during Giving Day.  This year, donors giving $10 or more will receive a UTSA Family car magnet as a thank you.

Donors of $50 or more will receive free tickets to the Family Association Dinner during Family Weekend in October for up to six people. These donors will be entered into a drawing for a three-person field access experience during pre-game at the Family Weekend UTSA Football game.

If you are interested in donating to more programming and experiences for students and supporting a Giving Day 2023 challenge, consider Wellbeing and Mental Health InitiativesMulticultural Events, and the Service Opportunities and Alternative Breaks. If these programs receive a combined 60 individual donors, it will unlock an anonymous donation of $10,000 to the Birds Up for Barry fund, which supports Student Affairs programs, events, and traditions.
